With a cuppa nearby, my iPad open to Procreate, and my beautiful dachshund puppy, Gracie, asleep beside me, I’m working on something new in retirement: learning to draw and focusing on hand-drawn coloring pages, gathered here into a Library for you to download and color.
Every page I share is free, and each one adds to two things at once — a calm coloring experience for you, and a visible record of my own growth as an artist.
Retirement made it possible for me to return to art, and it brings me so much joy. I take online art classes (some free, some paid), and oh, how I wish I’d gone to art school when I was younger! The learning curve is no joke for an oldster, LOL — but I’m finally doing what I love, and sharing it as I go.
I’m drawn to playful imperfection and simplicity: the way a wobbly line can show the human behind it, and the way blank space can feel like an exhale. My hope is to make pages that feel calming, comforting, and easy to color — like a soft place to land.
This is my quiet way of doing something I love — sharing it freely, watching the Library grow with my progress, and maybe one day shaping it into coloring books!
